Caldari are are quite rightly thought of as the kings of PVE in eve online, using missile boats for running missions or ratting whilst also garnering a reputation of not really being good PVP,ers.
It is true that a fairly new pilot can be up and running lvl3 missions in probably just over a month flying eve,s flagship mission Battle cruiser ship in the Drake. Not only can it run lvl 3 missions it can also run lvl 4s solo due in no small part to its awesome tanking abilities.
Caldari also posses the Raven Battle ship, another missile boat which can be skilled for very quickly allowing relatively young players into the game to run lvl 4s early on in their career as an eve pilot.
Where I think Caldari get a bad name for PVP is because there are so many PVE,ers running pve fit boats for pvp, this is clearly wrong. Caldari pilots need to get away from the pve fit mentality and show the other races that they really do have teeth.
Where Caldari do shine as PVP,ers is in the highly specialized boats, the Crow interceptor and the Falcon (especially the Falcon) are regarded as the best ships in the game for what
they are built to do.
