Minmatar favour projectile weapons systems and can both shield and armour tank. Out of all the races Minmatar are perhaps the fastest ships in the game and this makes them both very good tacklers and speed tankers.
The ammunition minmatar use is very versatile, enabling them to change damage types very quickly mid-battle and also delivering high volley damage.
Patience is the name of the game in Eve and even more so with Minmatar as it does take longer to become effective training them up but when you are skilled enough they are quite devastating.
Notable ships are the Rifter frigate ship, easily skilled for for a new player and alongside the Amarrian Punisher is probably the best frigate in the game. The Vagabond Heavy Assault ship and the Hurricane Battlecruiser which is arguably the heaviest hitting battlecruiser in the game delivering phenominal damage. Minmatar possess quite a few notable ships in their line-up.
