Worm Holes are a Pirates Heaven

Apocrypha Welcomes Pirates

In the latest Apocrypha Expansion pack Pirates were handed a new hunting life line in the form of Worm Holes. No longer do they have to roam Low Sec space to get their kills.

A wormhole will spawn randomly in any system in Eve Online, this worm hole opens up and leads to other unknown systems in mostly unchartered space, it is here where pirate gangs can find very lucrative rewards for their work. By camping their small gang and waiting for unwitting explorers to enter the wormhole space they can quite easily take very profitable pickings from the small gangs and solo pilots that come into this space for the rich loot on offer here from killing Sleeper rats.

Where Have The Locals Gone In Local ?

Because nobody showns up in Local, any pilot flying here has to keep their wits about him or herself and constantly be on their guard, unless a pilot is is regularly scanning for hostiles there is no way to know if there is anybody else in the system and hunting you down.

Attacked

A couple of nights ago, me and a corp mate were very nearly caught, we had just killed a load of sleepers and were in the process of looting the wrecks when out of the blue two pirates appeared and locked and shot at us, luckily they didnt have any warp scramblers with them and we managed to get out alive leaving around 70 million Isk worth of loot behind. We didnt know if they were part of a bigger gang.

Naturally we enlisted a couple more of our corp mates and went hunting the nasty pirates ourselves!
